Officer face disciplinary action in Tennessee atfer motoistr death

Police in Tennessee say officers in Memphis face disciplinary action after a 29-year-old driver died following a traffic stop. Memphis Police Chief CJ Davis said Sunday that the department was serving notice to the officers involved concerning policy violations. Davis said the administrative process was expected to be completed later this week.“After reviewing various sources of information involving this incident, I have found that it is necessary to take immediate and appropriation action,” Davis said in a statement. The statement did not indicate how many officers were involved. “Make no doubt, we take departmental violations very seriously and, while we must complete the investigation process, it is our top priority to ensure that swift justice is served,” Memphis Mayor Jim Strickland said in the statement. “We want citizens to know that we are prepared to take immediate and appropriate actions based on what the findings determine

One person died for others are injured and club shooting early Sunday

 At least one person died and four others were injured in a shooting outside a Houston club early Sunday, authorities said. “Over 50 shots were fired” in the parking lot of “some type of club/bar,” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said during a news conference. Police responded to the shooting around 2 a.m. and learned that five people had been shot, said Gonzalez. All of the victims were hospitalized. One person died and police were still trying to determine the extent of the injuries sustained by the four victims, he added. Two men and three women were believed to have been shot, according to Gonzalez. “It looks like over 50 shots were fired here, which is a very scary situation considering there’s a mobile food truck and … the number of patrons that were outside,” he said. The information officials had was “preliminary,” but the gunfire appears to have been a drive-by shooting, said Gonzalez. “We believe there may have been a vehicle that pulled up right around the 2 a.m. time ...

Father of student that was beat up in a Texas high School demands the teacher be fired

humble Texas high School . A student was beat down by English teacher that was caught on videotape... The student was badly bruised I had an injured leg and had to be taken to the hospital.. the father of student is now calling for the English teacher to be fired and his license be revoked so he cannot do this to another student.. 

Georgia players died in a car crash

  University of Georgia offensive lineman Devin Willock and staff member Chandler LeCroy were killed in an early morning car crash on Sunday in Athens, Georgia, just hours after the football team held its national championship parade, according to school officials. "The entire Georgia family is devastated by the tragic loss of football student-athlete Devin Willock and football staff member Chandler LeCroy," the school said in a statement Sunday. "Devin and Chandler were two special people who meant so much to the University of Georgia, our football program and our athletic department. We ask that everyone keep their families in your prayers during this very difficult time." Two other members of the football program were injured in the crash, the school said. They are both in stable condition.
